My interest in painting goes back as long as I can remember. I always liked
to draw and “tried” oil as a teen. Not much success until I took an class
back in the late 80’s.That’s when I got hooked on painting. I have been
taking classes in a group setting with David for about 3 years now.
I am a retired Hair Stylist, I also have a small catering business, mostly
Vegetarian and do some Weddingcakes too. I love to sing, I have a fella
that sings duets with me, I
also sing in a quartet and sing in a church choir. I have been singing since
age 12 and have had six years of classical voice training. I love to read and
write poetry, just about anything you can do right brained I guess.
I have 3 grown girls and 7 grandchildren,
two pictures of whom I have included in this site. I love to paint from
photo’s , the “woodland” scene is a favorite camping
spot of my son in law,he took the original photo. The “woman” was my
mother’s mother in her wedding dress about 100 years ago.
I love to paint my favorite places and people. So I hope you enjoy my
