Art Experience:                         General drawing through childhood and teen years. Ten
years ago I decided to pursue my (mediums.) I began
with pencil then to chalks, then to oils. In addition, I have
taken instruction classes for six years from artist,
Kathy Chester. While there, I learned more about pencils
and pastel chalks. Now, for the last four years, and the
beginning of my fifth year I have been taking instructions
from artist David Gillihan. Both of theses artist have
                             pursued their instructions and learnin
g from well known
                             artist world wide.

Reason for Beginning to Paint:         The passion and love for art, relaxation, making
something for someone else to enjoy, and most of all for
them to see what I have seen of my subject. Whether it be
a person, place, animal, or object, the meaning and
story of ones painting is part of the art.

Artist’s Statement:
I enjoy painting and choosing a
             subject that best conveys a
             story, attitude, or thought.
             Painting allows others to see
through to part of my heart
that speaks of my passion and
love for my work as well as my
             personality. Thank you for your
             interest in my work.

Brief Description of Displayed Work:

                              God’s promise:
Is the breaking of the clouds, and
the sun shinning again with its rays
                                                     bursting through to a new
beginning along with a dove, which
is a symbol of peace that makes
                                                     this painting speak of Faith.

                             Rainy Day Fun:
This is a child, no matter what the
                                                     weather condition is, who enjoys
God’s moments with fun, play, and
                                                     make believe.

                              A Mother’s Love:
This picture is one of my pastel
chalk pictures that I have done
using black, gray, and white pastel
chalks. It is a mother with her
                                                     child. This picture illustrates a
                                                     mother’s tender touch which
allows them to bond their hearts
                                                     together for life.
