As a child, I remember glazing out he window as I rode along in the
car noticing the different colors in the leaves, water, flowers and
nature in general. . As I grew up, I always wanted to be able to create
those colors, but never knew how. I would even color in my
children's coloring books as an adult!. Later in life, I became a florist
and enjoyed creating something almost true to nature.
My sister Denise encouraged me to take a drawing class, which I
did and enjoyed it immensely. Denise asked me to come to painting
class with her, but I was convinced I would not be able to do it.
After months of persistence, I finally went to meet David. He looked
at my hands, and reassured me that I could paint. I enrolled in his
class and have never regretted it I get lost in my paintings and forget
what ever is bothering me.
