Born in Texas, served in the United States Marine
Corp, Graduate of the University of Houston.
Married to the love of my life for 46 years with 3
daughters and 8 wonderful grandchildren. Retired
from vertical market software sales in 2007.
During my travels I have visited many Art
Museums and galleries, and have always had a
keen interest in art. Over the years, I would read
a book on “How to paint” and would try to paint a
study from the book itself.
After retirement that I decided to actually take
art instructions. Being in David’s classes has
opened a new door for me! I enjoy the
opportunity to work with David and other artists
during the class sessions. What a difference it is
to work with someone who has painted for over
35 years, and who is willing to share his
knowledge to help us reach our goals!
Most of the paintings that I have finished, have
been given to family and friends, who thought
they were good enough to frame and display, so I
don’t have many examples of my art to share.
Below are I am enjoying a cup of coffee before I
start creating on a new canvas.
