I am a native Tennessean, but I have spent many years living in the Florida peninsula where I
learned a lot about life and about myself. I returned to Tennessee in 2006 with my husband
and children, and we currently live just north of Nashville in Hendersonville, Tennessee. I
“make a living” raising our 6 young children – it doesn’t pay much, the hours are long, and
the work is hard, but the benefit package is priceless. Thanks to my husband who has come
to recognize the benefits of a sane wife and mother for his children, I find time to relax and
recoup regularly in front of a canvas with a brush in my hand. I have always loved getting
lost in great paintings, but it was not until 2007, under the direction of my friend and
instructor, David Gillihan, that I discovered I had a passion for painting as well. My works
thus far have been subjects of personal interest to me and to those whom I love. I can only
imagine that my future paintings will continue to by inspired by those things that speak to me
on a personal level. Should you find yourself lost in any of my paintings, feel free to contact
me – I’d love to hear from you. Please enjoy my gallery of paintings as well as the old truck
below.
